David W. Halstead

Dave Halstead joined Kirtland in February 2001. Prior to joining Kirtland, Dave spent 23 years in commercial and investment banking at Continental Illinois Bank, which subsequently became Banc of America Securities. He spent much of his banking career building and managing corporate finance groups that provided expertise in debt and equity capital raising, origination and structuring to middle-to-large cap issuers across industry sectors. Dave is Chairman of Truck Bodies & Equipment International and Vitex Packaging Group. Dave serves as a Director of The Cameron Kravitt Foundation and of the Western Reserve Land Conservancy. A graduate of Cortland College, Dave earned an masters in business administration from Cornell University's Johnson School of Management. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1970 to 1974.
