Bill Kelly is the Chairman and former CEO of Unifrax Corporation. His areas of expertise include operations management, materials science, regulatory affairs and international business. Having lived overseas and managed manufacturing companies around the world, he brings a wealth of problem solving experience to Kirtland and its portfolio companies. Bill served as a vice president of the Carborundum Co., a BP subsidiary, prior to partnering with Kirtland at Unifrax from 1996-2003. He is a ceramic engineer and a director of the American Ceramics Society and The Refractories Institute. He also serves on several corporate boards.
