Robertson Retires from Kirtland Capital Partners

Cleveland, Ohio – William R. Robertson, consulting partner of Kirtland Capital Partners, announced his retirement on December 31, 2006, after more than nine years with the firm. He will continue to serve as a member of the company’s advisory board.

Robertson joined Kirtland as a managing partner in September 1997 and subsequently became a consulting partner in 2005. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my affiliation with Kirtland Capital Partners and its associates,” said Robertson. “The opportunity to work with Jack Turben, John Nestor and the other partners of the firm was most gratifying. I will long cherish being a part of this strong partnership.”

Prior to joining Kirtland, Robertson was president and a director of National City Corporation, the large financial services holding company headquartered in Cleveland with assets of more than $100 billion. Bill currently serves as a director of Brush Engineered Materials Inc., The Cleveland Museum of Art and the Prentiss Foundation. Bill is a graduate of Colgate University and holds an MBA in Finance from Case Western Reserve University
