Kirtland Capital Partners Announces Two Promotions June 3, 2008 Fines joined Kirtland in 2005, as operating partner of the firm. Prior to joining Kirtland, he served as vice president and general manager of Avery Dennison's $1.1 billion North American materials business. Additionally, he spent 18 years with General Electric in the plastics and chemicals businesses before joining Avery. Fines is on the board of directors of MicroGroup, Inc. and Truck Bodies & Equipment International, Inc. He has also served on local non-profit community boards, including United Way of Lake County, Ohio, and United Way of West Virginia. Fines earned a bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from Ripon College. Menary joined Kirtland in 2004 and became a full-time associate in 2005. Prior to that, she was an analyst in the credit underwriting group at National City Bank's Debt Capital Markets. Menary received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and holds a master's in business administration from Michigan State University.
