Kirtland Capital Portfolio Business Completes Add-On

Cleveland, Ohio – Middle-market private equity firm Kirtland Capital Partners (Kirtland) announced today that its portfolio company, SmartSource Computer and Audio Visual Rentals, has purchased the assets of A.D. Handy Company. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

A.D. Handy is SmartSource's 17th acquisition overall and its second during Kirtland's ownership. A.D. Handy provides audio visual equipment rentals as well as staging and production services to customers in the Greater Boston area.

SmartSource joined Kirtland's portfolio in Sept. 2007. SmartSource Holdings, LLC, headquartered on Long Island, NY, is the nation's leading provider of short-term computer and technology rentals and related services.
