Kirtland Promotes Two as Partners

Cleveland, Ohio – Kirtland Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on the middle market, announced today that David A. Wood and James A. Foley were promoted to partners of the firm.

Wood, 38, joined Kirtland in September 1999 and prior was vice president and manager of underwriting in the structured finance division at KeyBank in Cleveland. He serves as a director of Truck Bodies & Equipment International and is a trustee of The Free Medical Clinic of Greater Cleveland. Wood earned an undergraduate degree from Allegheny College and both a master's in business administration and a law degree from Case Western Reserve University.

Foley, 40, joined Kirtland in January 2000. Previously, he worked as a manager in the transaction services group of PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Cleveland and was a vice president in the commercial lending division of KeyCorp. He serves as a director of Vitex Packaging Group. Foley is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University.
